Meet my client, Toby ❤️ Toby came to see me after being diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. He’d stopped eating his renal food and was losing weight, so his mum wanted a properly balanced home-cooked diet that would support his kidneys while helping him maintain his weight and muscle. Toby’s a bit of a local celebrity and a total ladies’ man. When he’s not enjoying the attention at his favourite coffee shop, you’ll find him pottering around garden centres, bookshops or the allotment. He also enjoys cinema trips, beach Pilates, restaurant dates and birthday parties - and has such a jolly little strut that his mum says he looks like he’s listening to the Bee Gees on his headphones. I'm sold 😂❤️

Did you know that when it comes to liver, more is not better? Liver is exceptionally nutrient-dense. Feed too much and you can end up providing excessive amounts of certain nutrients, including vitamin A and copper. That’s why the amount matters. How much is appropriate depends on the overall diet and your dog’s individual health needs. Dogs with copper-associated liver disease, for example, may need liver and other copper-rich foods restricted or avoided.

This was him after a trek in the Negev desert. 🐶 🐾 ☀️ His owner also shared a few photos of his very first home-cooked batch, complete with pots, bowls and the happy chaos that comes with it. 😆 To anyone who’s just started out with home cooking, it might feel a little overwhelming at first, but I promise it gets much easier (and quicker!) after a couple of cooks. 🙌 ❤️
